Sefe, Inc. Power the Entire World

"A city appears—out of thin air. And the power to run that growing city? It’s out of thin air, too. Magic? No, more like a revolution, one created by a vision and a simple, yet profound, premise:

Sustainable change.

Maximum impact.

SEFE is that vision…and a wholly unique way to power the world. The entire world, regardless of geography, politics or infrastructure.

It isn’t alternative energy, because alternative energy—like wind farms, solar arrays and the like—actually need to create electricity from some other means. Instead, SEFE taps the source, capturing and converting naturally occurring static electricity in the atmosphere into a constant, abundant and decidedly green source of renewable energy."

Art of the Zen Table ~ Mesmerizing and Functional

by Simon Hallam

Imagine a Japanese Zen Garden built into a beautifully-crafted, glass-topped table. The body of the table encapsulates electronics and robotics, that sculpt geometric patterns and images into a field of microscopic silicone beads beneath a glass top. The effect is mesmerizing and magical; it is truly Zen-like to watch ever-changing patterns and images appear in the sand.

Man Flaps His Arms and Flies !

"Since time immemorial, man has glanced up at the sky and watched with great envy as those magnificent winged creatures above flew circles around him. And although we now have airplanes, deep down inside, we still secretly want to experience what it’s like to soar like an eagle (as cliche as that sounds).

Well, I’m here to tell you that man’s day has come. That’s because on Sunday a Dutch inventor by the name of Jarno Smeets did the unthinkable when he strapped on a pair of homemade wings and flapped toward the heavens, officially becoming the first man in history to fly like a bird with self-built wings, as reported by Wired.com."

NoClean Aquariums™ ...Simple Genius

"People love aquariums because of their soothing, natural beauty. They make a stunning addition to any home or office and are great for kids. The only drawback is the cleaning. It’s a dirty, messy time consuming chore.

So we set out to design an aquarium that breaks down these barriers so anyone can have a beautiful, fun-to-watch aquarium without the hassles.
It’s the only aquarium on the planet that practically cleans itself, is free to operate (no electricity or filters) and only takes about 60-seconds to work."

The World's Leading Innovators

"In today's sluggish economy, the pressure to invent new products and file as many patent applications as possible is greater than ever—both for individual companies and for entire countries, which reap benefits from their citizens' business success. What does it mean for a country to be innovative, and which nations rank at the top of the list ?"

California's Big Squirt, 1951

"The parched deserts of Southern California need water to transform their barren soil into fertile farmlands and tourist Meccas such as those existing elsewhere in the state. So far the problem has remained unsolved. But Sidney Cornell, a Los Angeles construction engineer, thinks he has a solution. He wants to construct a series of geyser-like power plants one mile apart to shoot water from the mouth of one into the funnel of the next, as depicted here by MI artist Frank Tinsley. The water would arc over hilly sections, have a flat trajectory over plains. Its velocity would approach 400 mph. These stations— 400 in all—would cost about $300,000 each."
